Western partners have made many contradictory statements about the supply of tanks. The order in numbers was given by the president’s representative.
In the next two to three months, Ukraine should receive about 150-300 tanks from partner countries. An important estimated date is April 1. This was stated by the representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedir Venislavskyi in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“There are different estimates. But if we speak tentatively, then in the near future we may receive 150-300 tanks – within 2-3 months,” he said.
According to Venislavskyi, at the last “Ramstein” there was a common understanding that Ukraine needs tanks by April 1, which is connected with the activation of Russian troops.
The People’s Deputy also noted that the first 150-300 tanks are just the beginning, as Ukraine needs much more armored vehicles to liberate all its territories.
“If we have a total of 10 tank brigades – 1,000 tanks – it will be a very effective tool for the de-occupation of our territories. But, I think, if there are 5-7 of them (brigades – ed.) – it will also be enough to effectively liberate our territory “, – assured Venislavskyi.

After that, a number of European countries announced plans to transfer a certain number of “Leopards” to Ukraine.
On February 7, Germany approved the transfer of about 180 old Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine.
In addition, Great Britain will transfer 14 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine.
