Soon, the animated film “Mavka. Forest Song”. Screenings in cinemas will begin on March 2. Immediately after the Ukrainian premiere, the wide distribution of the cartoon will begin in France, which is handled by Universal Pictures Content Group. Then the premiere will take place throughout Europe. Also “Mavko. Forest Song” will be released in cinemas in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
Now it has become known that the entertainment company Shout! Factory also acquired the rights to show the animated film Mavka. Forest Song”. Thanks to this, the picture will be able to be seen in the US and English-speaking Canada.
“In addition to being present in a very competitive market, we received additional tools for promoting Ukraine – not only as a well-known brand, but also as a country producing very high-quality content,” says director of FILM.UA Distribution Yevhen Drachov.
In total, the rights to broadcast “Mavka” were sold for more than 20 territories. Among them are mentioned France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Finland . , Greece, Mongolia, as well as the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Now the USA and Canada have joined them.
Currently, the FILM.UA Distribution team is negotiating with partners in the Asian region, in particular China, Korea and Japan.
It is emphasized that the sale of the rights to show the animated film “Mavka. “Forest song” is carried out according to global market conditions.
