The French company Roy Group Energy handed over two unique solar power plants to Kyiv as humanitarian aid. They are planned to be installed in medical institutions of the Svyatoshyn district of the capital.
One of these power plants will be installed in the Advisory and Diagnostic Center. It is capable of generating 25.6 kWh of energy. Another more productive version with a production of 76.8 kWh is planned to be installed in the Svyatoshyn psychoneurological boarding school. French experts have already started the installation of the power plant at the facility.
“Medical institutions should work 24/7 to save the health and lives of Kyivans. But doctors, under the current conditions of power outages, cannot provide proper medical care only by the light of lanterns or candles. Special resuscitation and laboratory equipment that requires electricity must work. Therefore, we continue to supply the capital’s critical infrastructure facilities with alternative sources of food,” Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko noted.
It is emphasized that the French partners raised €250,000 for the purchase of these power plants. The JCI company provided another €50,000.
