It seems that Musk has found a way to solve the problem of falling reach – to simply add all his new posts to the user’s feed, despite Twitter’s algorithms.
Updated [12:54]: Musk confirmed the “strange” recommendations on Twitter, saying that “the algorithm is being updated.”
Journalists from The Verge claim that since Monday, the “For You” feed has been flooded with Musk’s posts and responses.
I don’t appear anywhere, but on the website Elon replies ?

I counted at least 7 posts from him in my feed, plus I was shown a few replies. All the posts were reflected at the top, and only then I was shown the tweets of my friends.
The publication claims that such a situation has also arisen among those who do not subscribe to Elon Musk.
This “upgrade” came days after Musk complained that his coverage had “fallen” and fired a lead engineer because of it. Twitter’s internal data was reported to indicate that Elon’s account peaked in search rankings in April 2022, and has seen a significant decline since then. The algorithms of the social network, as the engineers claimed, were not involved in this.
Musk said last weekend that Twitter had made “some changes” to address the “viewability” issue. The general director of the social network complained that 95% of his tweets do not reach the audience.

Two significant problems are mostly addressed:
1. Fanout service for Following feed was getting overloaded when I tweeted, resulting in up to 95% of my tweets not getting delivered at all. Following is now pulling from search (aka Earlybird).

It’s not clear if this is related to the feed being crowded with Musk, but hopefully Twitter will fix this issue soon. Unless, of course, the CEO’s new directive isn’t to “get views at all costs.”
