The railway station in Mariupol was completely destroyed by the Russian invaders.

This is reported by the Mariupol City Council in Telegram. “The railway station in occupied Mariupol was completely destroyed by the Russians. The place from where we set out to travel and the first place we saw when we returned to our native Mariupol. Now there are complete ruins here…” – said the message.

The city council added that the “Russian world” brought this to Mariupol: destruction, poverty, cold and death.

It is noted that less than a year ago, it was planned to create a modern European-level station. “However, the Russians will not defeat our dreams and plans! We are already forming a vision of the future of the city after the deoccupation together with the people of Mariupol,” the message reads.

In December 2022, it became known that the invaders planned to demolish an entire block near the Azovstal plant in the city. The Mariupol City Council added that the houses that the enemies want to demolish do not have gas, heating or electricity, but people still lived in them.
