According to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, chatbot based on artificial intelligence ChatGPT is now available in Ukraine. According to him, the Ministry of Statistics team worked for a long time to make this a reality. This was preceded by official letters, calls and a meeting with the management.
We will remind you that a month ago, OpenAI blocked ChatGPT in Ukraine in order “not to violate the sanctions that have been applied to the annexed Crimea/LDNR since 2014.” At the same time, work was blocked on the entire territory of Ukraine, and not only in the regions occupied by Russia. Now this injustice has been corrected. What the minister said.
“Finally, we managed to correct the injustice. Ukraine has been removed from the list of countries where ChatGPT is blocked. The program will not work only in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia. So that the enemies do not use it for anti-Ukrainian propaganda. After all, ChatGPT speaks Ukrainian well, unlike Russians,” Mykhailo Fedorov noted.
The head of digital mining thanked the OpenAI company “for the correct and completely logical solution.” In addition, he thanked Tymofiy Milovanov for his help in achieving this result.
“A country fighting for freedom and progress has the right to access revolutionary technologies,” Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized.
