The situation at the front: current information
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Rashists are carrying out attacks in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Shakhtarsk directions. The number of assaults can be counted by dozens per day.
According to Politico, the White House recommended that the Armed Forces not delay the counteroffensive. Such advice was given due to fears that support from European neighbors may decrease at some point.
As the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, it is important to keep the eastern “fortress” of Bakhmut. However, the Armed Forces will not do this at any cost.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stated that the Rashists are continuing the main phase of their offensive in Luhansk region. But the aggressor does not have enough reserves to dramatically increase the scale of attacks or intensity.
