Mobilization is in full swing in Ukraine, and some recorded video cases of “twisting” of conscripts by representatives of military commissars raise questions. Therefore, such egregious stories will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.

Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the specialized committee of the Verkhovna Rada, representative of the president in the parliament, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“Unfortunately, there are mobilization methods that do not satisfy us, members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence,” he said.

Therefore, a meeting of the committee has already been initiated, where leaders at the level of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are responsible for mobilization measures from high-profile cases when representatives of military commissariats hand out summons literally on the street, sometimes causing bodily harm to citizens, will be heard. Venislavskyi called it “the wrong mechanism”.

He also said, without naming names, that one of the people’s deputies, a member of his committee, was also served with a summons on the street.
