The defenders courageously defend our country, Danilov stressed.
Secretary of the Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov confirmed that the Russian army has not made any progress since the beginning of their so-called “big” offensive in eastern Ukraine.
As Danilov stated on the air of the telethon, the “big” offensive of the Russian Federation is “fading out”: “The big offensive, as they planned, has been going on for 8-10 days. They have not had any success.”
The Secretary of the National Security Council reminded that now the enemy is coming from five directions. But our defenders courageously defend our country, Danilov assured.
“Yes, it’s difficult. Today at the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, we discussed this question. We discuss it at least two or three times a week. Because of these “events on February 24″, the president gathers the Headquarters every day. The aggressor will definitely be repelled. The chances of winning in there are zero of them,” Danilov said.
Russia’s offensive in 2023 – what is known
Experts confirmed the beginning of a new offensive of Russia in Donetsk region. Currently, active fighting continues in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Shakhtarsk directions.
However, as the Western press writes, the Kremlin does not yet have large resources to expand offensive actions.
In the Vugledar direction, the Russian Federation suffered a crushing defeat during the assaults – the 155th brigade of Russian marines was completely destroyed.
The sharp increase in casualties among the invaders is consistent with intelligence that the Russian Federation has left all its resources to seize Donbas by March 2023.
