The Ovidiopol District Court of the Odesa Region sentenced a Russian man who supported the Russian military invasion of Ukraine on social media to a suspended sentence.
According to the court verdict, the defendant is a citizen of the Russian Federation, born in the village of Pokrovske, Rostov region, living in Ukraine.
It was established that in July 2022, he distributed materials calling for the change of the state border of Ukraine, justified the military invasion of the Russian Federation, etc. in the Odnoklasnyki social network. In particular, he made reposts of the publication in the form of an image of a rag with three identical horizontal stripes of blue, blue and red colors, on top of which a sign (coat of arms) with the inscription “Luhansk People’s Republic” is applied. Above this image was the text: “Today, July 2, 2022, the Luhansk People’s Republic was completely liberated from the Nazi invaders by the forces of the LPR and Russian armies. HURRY comrades! Hurray!”.
Also, the person involved reposted the publication in the form of images of men in Russian military uniforms with the inscription: “DNR Square has appeared in Moscow, the area next to the US Embassy will now be called “Donetsk People’s Republic Square”, etc.).
The man admitted his guilt.
The court found him guilty of the crimes provided for in Part 1 of Art. 110, Part 2 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He was sentenced to imprisonment for 5 years without confiscation of property with a probationary period of 3 years.
At the same time, in the verdict, in which the court presents arguments about the guilt of the defendant, the phrase “Russian Federation” is written as “Russian Federation”.

Primorsky District Court of Odesa sentenced a man who supported military aggression of the Russian Federation to 5 years in prison. The suspect in the case is a native of the village of Panteleimonivka, Central City District, Donetsk Region.
