Bethesda announced a new mobile game Mighty Doom. It’s an “adorably brutal” top-down action game designed to run on Android and iOS devices. It is being developed by the Bethesda Alpha Dog studio.
Judging by the trailer, the action of the game takes place in the “animated universe of Doom”. It’s a dimension “inspired by DOOM Eternal collectible toys.” A burst of energy revives the Mini Slayer toy figure just as the demons kidnap the Mini Daisy toy. Mini Slayer immediately goes in search of a rabbit, using the nearest portal. The hero must find a pet, along the way destroying all the demons that will stand in his way.
During the journey, Mini Slayer must mow down hordes of demons, dodge their attacks, and fight bosses. In his noble mission, the Mini Slayer uses a diverse arsenal of weapons familiar to Doom fans to destroy demons and other evil. The gameplay also includes leveling up, upgrading weapons and equipment.
Mighty Doom will be released on March 21, 2023. It will be distributed free of charge. Most likely, it will have in-game purchases. Interested users can pre-register now, for which they will be rewarded with additional equipment and exclusive weapon skins.
