Even last year, Serhii Deineko believed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would win in the fall of 2023. Since then, he has not changed his forecast.

The war with Russia will last until the fall of 2023. In October or November, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will drive the invaders out of Ukraine and liberate all captured territories.
Serhiy Deineko, head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, gave such a forecast back in 2022. Since that time, he has not changed his opinion, which became known from an interview with “Ukrainian Pravda”.
In a conversation with journalists, the manager said: “Last year, sometime in October, I made a prediction that we would win this year, in October-November, no later. I am not changing it yet.”
According to Deineko, he tries to look for the positive in everything and does not take any medications: “You just can’t feel sorry for yourself. And if someone says that he is not afraid, don’t believe it, everyone is afraid. We were in Bakhmut. Scary? Scary? Rumbles. It’s just that you’re the commander, you don’t have the right to show your fear.”
Forecasts regarding the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine
According to British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, hostilities will not end in a year. Russia is ready to continue throwing its people to their deaths and has no intention of stopping.
In October 2022, the head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said that by the end of the summer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will reach the limits of 1991. After that, the war will end with the defeat of the Russian Federation. Recently, he confirmed the relevance of his prediction.
As the former president of Poland Oleksandr Kwasniewski said, “the conflict will last a long time.” As for the relations between the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, it will take tens of years.
