There is no exact date for the announcement of the device yet, but it is expected that it will see the light of day in March-April.
Sony will soon present its new Xperia 10 V cameraphone. High-quality renderings of the device, which will replace last year’s Xperia 10 IV, have been posted on the Internet.
As expected, the design of the smartphone will not undergo major changes. The Japanese manufacturer is in no hurry to join the trend and insists on keeping the frames at the top and bottom instead of using a drop-shaped cutout or a hole for the front camera.
The most noticeable change is the increase in the diagonal of the display from 6″ to 6.1″. In addition, the next generation will have a second speaker for the stereo effect – it will be located in the lower frame under the display.
Rumors attribute the following features to the Xperia 10 V:
- OLED display, full-HD+, 120 Hz,
- Snapdragon 6 Gen 1,
- 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory (in the basic version),
- 5150 mAh battery with 30 W fast charging,
- NFC module for Google Pay contactless payments.
The exact date of the announcement of the Xperia 10 V is not yet available, but it is expected that the smartphone will see the light of day in March-April. Together with it, the flagship Xperia 1 V will be shown, about which much more is known.
Why you should look at Sony smartphones in 2023
According to many reviews, smartphones from the Japanese manufacturer have one of the best cameras among Android devices. In many ways, because even mid-budget devices have a number of functions from modern flagships.
So, for example, the current Xperia 10 IV has a triple rear camera, including a 12-MP main sensor and a pair of 8-MP secondary sensors. There is support for eye autofocus, 4K HDR video recording and 720p slow-mo at 120 fps. It also comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The photo capabilities of the Xperia 10 V are not yet revealed, but you can definitely expect an updated main sensor and telephoto lens in the new phone.
