President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi emphasizes that Ukraine would like to have security guarantees on the way to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
According to the correspondent, he said this during the press conference “February. The Year of Invincibility”.
In response to questions about security guarantees for Ukraine, when and with the participation of which countries they can be approved, Zelensky emphasized: “We would like to have security guarantees on the way to NATO. We do not know when Ukraine will be there. It does not depend today on of Ukraine”.
He added that Ukraine demonstrated its power: both on the battlefield and “in society, which maximally supports this geopolitical course.”
“As for the challenges on the way to the Alliance, we want to have security guarantees. With which countries are we talking about it, with the European Union, we are talking about it with Great Britain, we are talking about it with the United States of America. So far, this circle, with whom we discussed this issue. I cannot tell you when it might happen,” Zelenskyi said.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom called on allies to double their military support to Ukraine. He advocated the development of Ukraine’s security guarantees. In his opinion, Ukraine should receive long-term guarantees of security and support from the West before it joins NATO.
