Updated [16:13]. At first, we wrote that the original English version of the book was released in the fall of 2022, but its release was postponed to the fall of 2023. We apologize for the inaccuracy.
The original English-language version of the cookbook (full title – The Witcher Official Cookbook: Provisions, Fare, Culinary Tales from Travels Across the Continent) was announced in early 2022 and was originally planned to be released in the fall of 2022, but as a result was postponed to 2012. On Amazon, the hardcover book currently costs about $30 (also pre-ordered, and the sales start date is November 11, 2023). Its authors are Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka, who run the cooking blogs Nerds’ Kitchen and Witcher Kitchen.

The dimensions of the Ukrainian edition of the gastronomic guide to the Continent do not differ from the original and are 210x260x10 mm, the number of pages is 256.
In total, the book contains 80 recipes, inspired both by Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy novel and the famous video game series “The Witcher” — “from hearty dishes and strong drinks from the inn to luxurious banquets for a feast with friends.” The book contains not only step-by-step instructions, but also many culinary stories, so it will help to prepare such dishes that “even the cooks of Princess Anna Henrietta would be jealous of them.”
Warm up with a bowl of aromatic stew or juicy baked fruit from the trees of the White Garden. End your challenging trip to Velen with a hearty country meal at a local inn. Enjoy aromatic snacks while strolling through Oxenfurt’s markets.
