Every day more and more diplomats return to Ukraine, and diplomatic missions resume their work.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that as of May 13, 37 foreign missions are already operating in Kiev.
The head of state spoke about this in a traditional evening video message on Friday, May 13.
“Already 37 foreign missions have resumed their work in Kyiv. And I am grateful to all of them, because these are 37 proofs that Ukraine stands strong and has prospects, unlike the Russian Federation. I am sure that soon other foreign missions will return to the capital .
It is necessary to return to work and all Ukrainian businesses that have not yet resumed activities, although they can do this in a safe area. Providing jobs and adjusting economic activity to the existing conditions is also a big job for defense, for our future,” Zelensky said.
Recall that Zelensky also spoke about “very difficult negotiations” on the evacuation from Mariupol and Azovstal.
