President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin discussed with the permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation potential threats to the decision of Finland and Sweden to join NATO.
In addition, they discussed the course of the war in Ukraine. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Putin in this regard.

“An exchange of views took place on the decision of Finland and Sweden to join NATO and the potential threats to Russia’s security arising in this regard. A number of issues were also raised in the context of the CSTO summit to be held on Monday,” Putin’s spokesman added.
Peskov also notes that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu also briefed the meeting participants on the course of the war in Ukraine.
Other details of the meeting are not yet known.
Recall, Zelensky said that Ukraine will not cede territory in order to “save Putin’s face.”
