Baseus is a young Chinese brand, created in 2011 by Shenzhen Besing Technology Co .. The manufacturer specializes in the production of various accessories for electronics, these are: cables, cases, chargers, holders and much more. There are probably a hundred different positions on the manufacturer’s website, so you can look at various interesting things for yourself. Today we will talk about three accessories of the company, created for car owners, and for the device thanks to the BIGgeek.ru store, which provided us with them.

All Baseus accessories come in quality boxes with good printing. The boxes are white, in the upper left corner there is the manufacturer’s logo, and in the center there is a large image of the product and icons with the main characteristics. In general, everything is in the style generally accepted in the electronics market today, so it would not even be a shame to put them in the Apple Store.

Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

The first accessory is the Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner compact car vacuum cleaner. The device compares favorably with similar products by the presence of a built-in 2000 mAh battery, thanks to which it can work in autonomous mode for about 21 minutes. This time is quite enough to walk around the cabin and vacuum all surfaces. If you use the device from time to time and clean up locally as needed, then the charge will last for an average of 4-6 short cleanings. The full charge time of the battery is about 3 hours, and a standard USB Type-C is used to connect the cable, so although the cable is included, I think most users already have more than one. Recharging requires 5V / 2A, not all built-in USB in cars correspond to these parameters, so the vacuum cleaner will have to be charged from the mains socket of the car with the adapter or already at home.

The device is a pretty capsule, the main part of which is made of metal, it can be silver and black, and there are semicircular plastic inserts on top and bottom. The upper insert with slots for air outlet, and the lower one is a cap, removing which opens access to the working nozzle of the device. On the case, except for the on / off button, the triple battery status indicator, and the Type-C connector, there are no more additional elements. The vacuum cleaner weighs about 500 grams, the body length is 23 cm, and the diameter is 6.5 cm, because of such dimensions, it is not to say that it is very convenient to hold it with one hand, it will be especially inconvenient for miniature women. On the other hand, Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is not designed for complex cleaning, and a few minutes of use will not be particularly burdensome.

There are no questions about the materials and assembly of the device, everything is done at a good level. The nozzle can be easily removed and from the opposite side there is access to the filters and a small container for debris, which is easy to empty and rinse if necessary. The device comes with a long slotted nozzle and a nozzle with a pile, they are made of high-quality plastic, and to install them, you just need to insert them into the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner, there are no latches here, but this is probably not needed.

In addition to the cable and two brushes, the Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner comes with a satin pouch. The material chosen is strange, it would be more suitable for cheap women’s underwear than as a bag for storing a vacuum cleaner, but on the other hand, it’s good that at least they put one like this. The device, along with two brushes, fits freely in a bag and all together can be stored in the glove compartment of the car, although in some models it will take it up completely.

In general, Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a very good solution for motorists, compact, made of high-quality materials, with a good suction power of 65 W and a pressure of 3.75 kPa. Let’s add here a battery life of about 21 minutes, Type-C for charging and the actual possibility of charging from the vehicle’s on-board network. This, of course, is not a solution for a comprehensive cleaning of the passenger compartment, but rather a vacuum cleaner to maintain cleanliness in order to immediately eliminate dirt and dust that has appeared in the passenger compartment. The price of Baseus Capsule Cordless Vacuum Cleaner in Russia is about 3 rubles, so it is quite possible to take it for yourself and as a gift.

Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount

The second accessory is the Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount with an air duct grill and built-in wireless charger. The mount is made of plastic with rubber pads on the charging pad and in the legs that hold the device. There are no special complaints about the quality of materials and workmanship. Although, at first glance, the design looks flimsy, but this feeling is created by the light weight of the accessory and the movable fixing legs. The device is offered in three color options, however, the only difference is in the color of the clips, which can be black, like the main body, red or silver.

The gadget’s holding mechanism is rather primitive, but reliable. Under the weight of the smartphone installed in the holder, the lower fastener goes down, and the side legs, on the contrary, move inward, securely fixing the device. Removing the device is also quite simple, lift it up and that’s it. The attachment to the duct is made in the form of a clothespin, and the legs have silicone pads, despite the simplicity of the design, the Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount is securely attached and does not fly off even when shaking on a bumpy road. The mount relative to the main platform can be twisted in any direction for ease of installation, after which you just need to tighten the fixing ring, so that installation is possible on any type of air duct.

Unfortunately, the Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount uses microUSB as a cable connector, not the modern Type-C, the corresponding cable is already included in the package. Wireless charging 10 W, provided you connect to USB with 5V / 2A parameters, so in some cases you will have to resort to an adapter in the cigarette lighter. There are no questions about wireless charging, everything is fine, both with the Apple iPhone 11 and with the Huawei P40 Pro. I don’t know what USB parameters are in Mitsubishi Outlander, but in 30 minutes, wireless charging recharges iPhone 11 by 15%. On the back of the holder there are ventilation holes that prevent the device from overheating, and it is at some distance from the car ventilation, so even warm air will not be scary. True, in winter, it would be better to close the ventilation used under the holder to avoid overheating. And also on the back there is an indicator of the wireless charging operation, but it is practically invisible, and it is not particularly needed.

The manufacturer says the Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount is compatible with smartphones with screens ranging from 4 “to 6.5”, but the Huawei P40 Pro with 6.58 “screen fits into it without any problems.

The Baseus Wireless Charger Gravity Car Mount is not bad, despite the simplicity of the design, it reliably holds the smartphone, and it is fixed on the ventilation grill well. Of the minuses, I will only note the microUSB connector, I get the third cable in the car, in addition to Lightning and Type-C, which are always there, just in case. And so you have a high-quality holder and wireless charging in one device and all this pleasure costs about 1600 rubles.

And the last accessory for the car from Baseus in our selection is the Car Cleaning Kit consisting of vegetable rubber and a special silicone glove.

In a small jar, which in appearance resembles a container for all sorts of gels, there is a bright yellow viscous substance like the now fashionable slime, who have children, they will understand, well, or, in other words, a slime, this is for old people. With this vegetable rubber, you can remove dust and fine dirt from hard-to-reach areas in your car, such as air vents, between steering wheel buttons or speaker grille. Of course, you can also use this set at home, for example, to remove dirt on the keyboard. Since the substance is viscous and jelly-like, it easily penetrates into any gaps, and all dust and dirt that is there adheres to it. Yes, it is not necessary to store vegetable rubber in a jar, you can leave it on the glove from the set, turn the last one out and close it with special clips.

There are exactly two difficulties with using the Car Cleaning Kit, the first is that the silicone glove from the kit is small in size, apparently, under the arm of an average Chinese. And the second is that you can’t wash vegetable rubber and don’t wipe it off too much, you can use it only until it loses its qualities due to dirt and other factors. On the other hand, this set costs about 600 rubles, and it will not be enough for one or two cleanings, but much more.
