Paramount Studios will release a direct sequel to Monstro 13 years later, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project is produced by JJ Abrams, he also worked on the first part.
The script is written by Joe Barton, the creator of the Duty / Shame series and the showrunner of the Batman television spin-off about the Gotham police. At the same time, the sequel to “Monstro” will not be filmed in a pseudo-documentary format. Other details are still unknown.
