Most of the spring-summer movie releases will be postponed, writes The Hollywood Reporter, citing its sources. One of the veterans of the film industry called what was happening “a huge mess.”
These are films such as Black Widow (May 6) and Top Gun: Maverick (July 1). Also on the list of films that are in danger of postponing the premiere are the sequel “A Quiet Place” (April 22), “Fast and the Furious 9” (May 27) and the new James Bond (April 2).
All this supposedly will not affect only the releases of Warner Bros., which will be simultaneously released both in the movies and on the HBO Max service, although the situation with the same “Dune” is still in question.
It is not the first time that rumors about the postponement of the release of many films to a later date have appeared. We are waiting for official statements from the studios.
