In Donbass, the invaders concentrated their efforts on the offensive in the direction of Severodonetsk and Lysichansk.
Thus, they want to reach the administrative border of the Lugansk region.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff.
In the Limansky direction, it is not excluded that the enemy will force the Seversky Donets River in the Dronovka-Belogorovka section. For fire cover for the crossing, the invaders deployed units of rocket and cannon artillery.
In the Severodonetsk direction , the enemy, with the support of artillery, is conducting assault operations in the directions of Toshkovka and Ustinovka.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy improved the tactical situation in the area of the village of Vasilievka.
On the Avdeevsky, Kurakhovsky and Novopavlovsky directions, the enemy carried out a fiery defeat of Ukrainian units using artillery and aviation.
“Over the past 24 hours, 16 enemy attacks were repulsed in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, 8 tanks, 22 armored vehicles and 1 enemy vehicle were destroyed,” the General Staff said.
Recall that the Russian occupiers are pulling military equipment to the borders with Ukraine. Thus, the Russians deployed Iskander missile systems on the border with Ukraine and Belarus.
