According to the Avtostat agency, sales of used electric vehicles in Russia fell for the first time in the past few years – for the first time since November 2016. In April, Russians bought 728 used electric vehicles, which is 6% less than a year ago.
Nissan cars accounted for 48% of the market for used electric vehicles in April: Russians bought 352 used Nissan Leafs, which is 44% lower than in April last year. Second place is occupied by Tesla with a share of 24% and a result of 174 vehicles. Sales of this brand increased by 3.3 times. Third place is occupied by Audi with the result of 36 purchased electric vehicles. Rounding out the top five are Porsche and Volkswagen, which were bought 25 cars each.
After the Nissan Leaf, the most popular model is the Tesla Model 3 with 83 cars, followed by the Model Y (45 cars), the Audi e-tron (31 cars) and the Tesla Model S (28 cars).
In the first four months, 3,355 used electric vehicles were purchased in our country, which is 57% more than in the same period last year.
As we have already reported , the average price of a new electric car in China is about 10% higher than the average price of a similar combustion engine car.
Also in the coming years , a sharp increase in the cost of electric vehicles is expected .
