Adata Technology has announced the release of the Legend 850 PCIe 4.0 x4 solid state drive (SSD) in the popular M.2 2280 form factor. In addition, a special version of it in an unusual design was announced, the preparation of which was announced in early May.

The novelty provides sequential read and write speeds up to 5000/4500 MB/s. The value of IOPS (input / output operations per second) for random reading of data in blocks of 4 KB is up to 400,000, for random writing – up to 550,000.

“ In addition, with LDPC (Low Density Parity Code) and AES 256-bit encryption, users can be confident that their data will remain accurate and secure ,” says the developer.

The limited edition of the device received a design that was developed by the German graphic designer Mr. Fred. The one of a kind module with a colorful pattern will be produced in a limited edition of 520 units and will go on sale in June. So far, one capacity option is called – 512 GB.
