In the communities of the Zhytomyr region, they began to examine residential buildings damaged as a result of rocket attacks for their further restoration.
This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
“Zhytomyr region is putting the destroyed infrastructure in order,” he said.
Thus, according to Tymoshenko, in the village of Bystri, Stanishevskaya hromada and in the Malinskaya TG, an examination of residential buildings damaged as a result of rocket attacks has begun, and in Chernyakhiv they have taken up the replacement of windows. In the Ovruch territorial community, public utilities are removing the remains of the rubble of destroyed houses.
“Demining continues in the Naroditska territorial community,” Tymoshenko added.
Infrastructure restoration work is also ongoing in the Sumy region, where destroyed residential buildings are being examined and work is being carried out to restore access to premises blocked by debris as a result of enemy strikes.
In Chernihiv, according to Tymoshenko, repair work is being carried out on the roads, mine clearance continues.
In the near-capital region, an increased number of Kyivoblgaz emergency crews remains to work in the Buchanskaya, Irpinskaya and Gostomel communities. The update of the natural gas distribution service in all 120 settlements of the Kyiv region has been completed.
“As people return to their homes, specialists are promptly inspecting the networks and launching gas. If necessary, they carry out repair work on intra-house gas networks,” Tymoshenko specified.
Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office announced that the first billion hryvnias had been allocated from the reserve fund of the State Budget for the restoration of the Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions liberated from Russian troops.
