Turkish presidential adviser Ibrahim Kalin said that allegedly Russia wants to sit down at the negotiating table with both Ukraine and the West in order to conclude a new major agreement.
According to him, in order for the terms of the negotiations to develop, “all parties, including Europe and the United States, must have a constructive position.”
He announced this in a commentary to the Turkish edition of Türkiye .
“We are aware that Russia wants to sit down at the negotiating table not only with Ukraine, but also with the West and conclude a new major agreement. The issue is both in Ukraine and not in Ukraine. There is a deeper strategic calculation that includes Ukraine . It is impossible to end combat operations and, finally, the war, without restoring the right balance here,” Kalin said.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine could completely stop negotiations with Russia and the reason for this would be the killing of captured civilians and the military.
