As expected, the HBO Max streaming service will air a Sex and the City miniseries. It will be titled “And just like that …” – the service ordered 10 episodes.
The miniseries will feature almost all of the main characters from the original HBO show.
In the upcoming relaunch, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Christine Davis will return to their roles. The fourth key actress, Kim Cattrall, has no plans to play Samantha Jones in the miniseries.
At the moment, the details of the plot and other details of the upcoming mini-series are unknown, but the first teaser for it has already been published on the network:
Actress Kim Cattrall announced her unwillingness to play Samantha Jones back in the fall of 2017. Then she explained that “Sex and the City” is a passed stage. This led to the refusal of the creators of the series from filming the third full-length film based on the series.
Recall that the original “Sex and the City” lasted six seasons, which aired from 1998 to 2004. After that, two feature films and two seasons of the Carrie Diaries prequel series were released in 2008 and 2010.
