On the night of February 28 to March 1, the 78th Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles. The awards were presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The event took place via video link from New York and from Beverly Hills.
Chloe Zhao was named the best director of the year. She became the second female director in history to win. Her work “Land of the Nomads” was recognized as the best in the main category “Best Film (Drama)”.
