Developer and publisher Konami has officially unveiled Crimesight – a social detective story reminiscent of Among Us or the desktop Mafia.
Crimesight events will unfold in London in 2075. Thanks to Foresight, an artificial intelligence predictor of future crime, the city’s crime rate has been reduced by 90%.
One day Foresight predicts that the world will fall due to a series of inevitable incidents. As the artificial intelligence created by Foresight engineers “Sherlock” finds out, it is all the fault – the insidious AI called “Moriarty”.
Players in Crimesight will have to help Sherlock prevent crime. However, the team of users will inevitably have an agent “Moriarty” who must be calculated during the match.
The villain, in turn, must first decide on a potential victim, and then “Fulfill a number of conditions” for a successful murder. The secret of the traitor’s identity and his goal will be revealed during the game.
In addition, Konami has announced the imminent start of the Crimesight closed beta. You can apply for participation via Twitter (by reposting the corresponding tweet) and Discord (by responding to a message about recruiting volunteers with specific emojis).
There is no release date for Crimesight at this stage, but beta testing will last from June 25 to July 11 this year. So far, the game has been announced only for PC (Steam) – the project already has its own page in the Valve service.
