Capcom announced in early March that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin would be coming to PC as well as Nintendo Switch. The game recently added a page on the Steam digital distribution store, where its system requirements were published. In addition, it became known about the presence of Denuvo DRM protection in the project.

Minimum system requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 3,20 GHz (or AMD equivalent) or better
• RAM: 4 GB;
• video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 2 GB;
• disk space: 28 GB.

Recommended system requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 3,20 GHz (or AMD equivalent) or better
• RAM: 4 GB;
• video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2 GB;
• disk space: 28 GB.
  

Alongside the system requirements, Capcom has made an important note: “The game is expected to run at 1080p at 30fps. Internet connection is required to activate the product “… At the moment, it is not known for sure whether in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin the frame rate will be locked at 30 frames / s. Perhaps the note applies only to the specified system requirements, that is, with the stated parameters, you can only count on 1080p at 30 frames / s. Capcom has not fully clarified this point.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be released on July 9, 2021 on PC and Nintendo Switch.
