G7 justice ministers will meet on November 28 in Berlin. They plan to discuss measures that will allow more effective investigation of Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine.

The meeting of the ministers of justice of the “Big Seven” – Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Canada, France, Japan and the USA – was reported on Twitter of the Federal Ministry of Justice of Germany.

Such a meeting will take place for the first time.

“First of all, we will talk about the terrible war crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine, they must be revealed, and the guilty must be punished,” – emphasized the Minister of Justice of Germany, Marko Buschmann.

War crimes of the Russian Federation

Human rights activist Tetyana Pechonchyk stated that war crimes committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine will be documented and investigated for years and decades.

A little earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about the torture chambers of the occupiers. The Russian occupiers subjected people to electric currents, beatings, and various forms of abuse, including pulling out nails.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the police have initiated more than 42,000 criminal proceedings for war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers on the territory of Ukraine.
