The collaborative government of Mariupol does nothing to help the townspeople.
Residents of Mariupol are freezing in their houses and begging for help.
Residents of the building at Morsky Boulevard, 66, wrote the corresponding inscriptions, the city council writes in Telegram.
It is noted that the air temperature in Mariupol has already dropped to -2 degrees. At the same time, many townspeople have ordinary film stretched instead of windows. In addition, there is no heating in the city, and the collaborative government does nothing.
“The occupiers are continuing the genocide of the civilian population of Mariupol. At first, they purposefully shot thousands of houses, and now they are setting up a real holocaust. The people of Mariupol are experiencing all the advantages of the Russian world firsthand,” the city council wrote.
The situation in Mariupol
According to the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, 90% of vital infrastructure in the city was damaged. In particular, 1,368 buildings, 11,384 houses, 25 kindergartens, 11 hospitals, 53 cultural and sports institutions, and 39 schools were destroyed.
Retired American general Ben Hodges, who commanded US forces in Europe, believes that Ukraine will be able to return Mariupol and Melitopol already this winter.
According to the estimates of the city council, approximately 150 people die every week in the temporarily occupied Mariupol of the Donetsk region.
