In order for enemy strikes to have any effect, an element of a breakthrough in Ukraine’s air defense is necessary, the expert noted.

Russia’s missile strikes on Ukraine will not stop, but the pauses between attacks will increase as the enemy’s production, recovery and logistics capabilities decline.

If now we can talk about pauses between strikes for two weeks, then after a certain period of time it will be an average of three weeks, said military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko on the “FreeDom” broadcast.

“For such strikes to have any effect, an air defense breakthrough element is necessary. The air defense breakthrough element is due to a large number of missile weapons being launched…” – said the expert.

According to him, the main thing is that there should be enough missiles, and the anti-aircraft defense could not cope with the destruction of practically all launched objects.

“That is, this number of 70, 80, 90, 100 missiles during such a strike must be launched. To accumulate such a number, reproduce, remove from storage, restore, send to the airfield, place on the launch pads – it all takes… a certain period of time … if we can now talk about pauses between strikes of two weeks, after some period of time it will be an average of three weeks,” he predicted.
