Law enforcement officers conduct an inspection of territories and premises, including a hotel type, to identify persons involved in anti-Ukrainian activities.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducts searches in religious institutions of the UOC MP in nine regions.
“Given the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, these measures are carried out to prevent the use of religious communities as a center of the “Russian world” and to protect the population from provocations and terrorist acts,” commented the SBU searches.

- Women’s monastery in honor of the Iver icon of the Mother of God of the “Yusefin” tract (Sarnensky district);
- Sviatohirsky Dormitionsky Zimnesky Stauropygny Convent (Zymne village, Volodymyrsky district);
- Men’s Monastery of Saints Equal-to-the-Apostles Constantine and Elena (Kostyantynivka village, Mykolaiv District);
- Holy Spirit Cathedral (Romny);
- Archdeacon-Stephanivska Church (Romny);
- Holy Trinity Church (Lviv);
- Church of Reverend Amfilokhiy Pochaevsky (Mostysk);
- Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin (Boryslav);
- Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ (Korosten);
- Holy Transfiguration Cathedral (Ovruch);
- Ovruch-Korosten diocese (Ovruch);
- St. Basil’s Cathedral (Ovruch);
- Saint Basil’s Monastery (Ovruch);

Search in the churches of the UOC MP
Since the end of November, the SBU has been conducting searches of UOC MP churches. During the searches, propaganda literature denying Ukraine as a state, medals for the “liberation of Crimea”, Russian passports and symbols of the “LDNR” were found.
During one of the searches, security forces found the secretary of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the UOC MP Mykyta with a naked underage boy.
On December 9, the rector of the Pochaiv Theological Seminary of the UOC MP was informed of suspicion of anti-Ukrainian activities.
On December 12, by the decision of the National Security Council, sanctions were imposed against seven representatives of the UOC MP.
