The representative of the National Security Council at the White House, John Kirby, said that the United States of America is preparing a new package of military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by Voice of America correspondent Mykhailo Komadovsky on Twitter. According to him, there may be additional installations of HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems.
“The United States plans to provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid in the coming days and weeks. This was announced by the representative of the National Security Service, John Kirby. He noted that the new aid may include additional installations of HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems,” Komadovsky wrote.

On December 7, 2022, the US Senate approved a record defense budget for 2023. The total amount is 847.3 billion dollars, of which 800 million dollars are for Ukraine.
On December 9, it became known that the USA plans to transfer a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth 275 million dollars. The Pentagon will include missiles for the launchers of the highly mobile artillery missile system HIMARS, 155-mm ammunition, Humvee military vehicles and generators in the list of armaments.
