In Odesa, they are looking for a man who, under the guise of collecting funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, embezzled citizens’ money. In total, he cheated 26 people.
As reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa, a resident of the city of Izmail posted a video message on the Internet that he is collecting funds on his bank account for the military who are standing at checkpoints and guarding the city. In this way, the “volunteer” collected UAH 30,000 from citizens, but did not use it to help the military.
In addition, during the authorized search of the car, law enforcement officers seized 62 cartridges, which, according to the conclusion of an expert study, are suitable for shooting from a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a hand machine gun.
After the suspect learned that he would be prosecuted, he left his place of residence, after which he was declared wanted.
“The Izmail police are looking for a suspect in fraud and illegal handling of military supplies, Dalakov Vladyslav Serhiyovych,” the report says.
Currently, the husband was informed in absentia about the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 190 and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
