The Kremlin is ready for an escalation with Ukraine and promptly installs “Pantsyri” on the roofs of Moscow buildings, as it expects a retaliatory strike from the Armed Forces.
The Kremlin is seriously considering the escalation of the war with Ukraine, which could take the form of a missile attack on Bankova, the Verkhovna Rada, and the headquarters of the Armed Forces.
At the same time, the head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, understands that such a step on the part of Moscow may result in retaliatory strikes by Ukraine. That is why he promptly installs Pantsir-S1 complexes on the roofs of Moscow buildings, as noted by Russian blogger Mark Feigin in an interview with Gennady Gudkov.
“I heard such a version, which I myself am more inclined to believe. This is really a new stage: with Gerasimov, a new plan, the onset. It foresees new strikes, but only not on critical infrastructure, but on decision-making centers. Conventionally speaking, let’s give ten we will launch missiles at Bankova, the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada,” he said.
At the same time, the blogger believes that Putin has an understanding of how such an escalation will turn out.
“It is quite obvious that if a rocket hits Bankova, then what is there to talk about at all? Naturally, they will hit Novogireyev (a district in the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow – Ed.) and the Kremlin, and the General Staff on Frunzenskaya Embankment, and on New Arbat the building of the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the people of Lubyanka – they will hit everywhere,” Feigin believes.
He assumed that any drone created by Ukraine would be able to cause damage and destroy certain Moscow buildings, which would be a blow to the propaganda regime.
“Moscow, your roof is on fire at the General Staff. It’s a yellow building behind the Kremlin where he sits. Although they say he’s not sitting,” the blogger assumed the Kremlin’s shock reaction to the strikes of the Armed Forces in response.
Deployment of air defense complexes in Moscow
Earlier, the mass media found out that a few weeks ago, an air defense complex was installed near the residence of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the Valday district (Novgorod region), which is constantly on combat duty.
It is known that the entire central part of Moscow was blocked by the Pantsir-S1 complexes. There they created a triangle of air defense complexes, inside which the Kremlin is located. “Pantsyri” was placed on the administrative building in Teterynsky Lane and on the Ministry of Defense building on the Frunze Embankment in Moscow.
Air defense systems were also placed 10 kilometers from Putin’s personal residence, next to the village of Zareche.
