Artificial intelligence does not rule out that in the future it may become paid for users.
The use of artificial intelligence ChatGPT, which is available in Ukraine, may become paid in the future.
The “smart” chatbot himself told the correspondent about this.
As an artificial intelligence, I have no power over my use, so I cannot decide for myself whether my use will become paid or not. Usually, the use of me is free for users, but it is possible that in the future there will be paid services related to my use or created on the basis of my capabilities. However, if this happens, it will be decided by my developers and owners, not me – said the artificial intelligence.
At the same time, to the question of whether there is any secret purpose in its creation, the chatbot answered that there is none.
I have no secret goal. My goal is to help people find answers to their questions, provide informational support and develop and improve their question answering skills. I am designed to make people’s lives a little easier and more efficient, and my capabilities and functions are aimed at achieving this goal, he said.
Note that ChatGPT already has a paid version, ChatGPT Plus, which is available as part of a subscription for $42 per month. For this money, users are given priority access to new features and reduced response time. It remains free for regular users, at least for now.
According to rumors, the developer company OpenAI spends millions of dollars every month to maintain the free version of the product and is therefore looking for investment. So, in January, the media, citing sources, reported that the developer could receive $10 billion from Microsoft and may be forced to give it 75% of the profits until it recoups its investment.
What is ChatGPT and what is it capable of?
ChatGPT is a chatbot that has caused a great stir in the high-tech world since the beginning of 2023. He is able to easily and confidently answer complex questions, as well as write prose, poems or computer code on command, and in terms of growth rate, he even surpassed TikTok.
Unlike classic search engines, it does not have pre-prepared templates, but is trained to give meaningful answers “on the fly”. ChatGPT was trained using an array of texts from the Internet and a reinforcement learning system based on human feedback. The neural network was then retrained several times using its own responses to make them more accurate and correct.
Against the background of the popularity of ChatGPT, technology giants began to announce their AI products. In particular, Microsoft previously introduced the updated Bing search engine with a built-in chatbot ChatGPT, which immediately issues answers in natural language. At the same time, Google announced Bard – an intelligent chatbot in the spirit of ChatGPT
