Hollywood actor and star of the movie “The Martian” Matt Damon admitted that he can make a documentary about the full-scale war in Ukraine, which was unleashed by Russia almost a year ago. He spoke about his plans at the 73rd Berlin Film Festival.

Damon appeared at the presentation of the documentary “Kiss of the Future”, which he produced together with actor Ben Affleck and other stars, with a sign in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. He wore a badge in the form of a yellow and blue bear. Photographer Dmytro Halkevich has already published a photo with the actor.

According to Deadline, the actor was asked if he had thought about making a documentary about the war in Ukraine. Damon was given an example of the work of Sean Penn, who created the film Superpower. In it, Penn talked about a full-scale war. Damon said that many films about Ukraine await us in the future.

According to the actor and producer, his project is still at an early stage. However, he did not deny that he could make a documentary. Damon also said that he did not communicate with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, but saw his wife at the UN Assembly last year.
