Russian invading troops may be preparing provocations in the Kherson region.

This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Serhii Khlan, on his Facebook page. Military units of the Russian Federation, in particular machine gunners, were stationed in Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka. In his opinion, provocations and new shelling of the right bank of the region are possible.

“Kherson region. There are reports of the deployment of enemy equipment in Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka. Cities are closed for entry and exit. Probably, the Rashists are preparing for provocations,” Khlan wrote.

In addition, the Left Bank noted an increase in the number of personnel of the Russian invaders, but mainly they are FSB employees. The number of roadblocks is also increasing.

At the same time, the checkpoints of the occupiers have decreased in the Heniche district. Khlan believes that the invaders have designated this area as a security zone.

Shelling of Kherson region

According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders in the Chaplin district of the region are conducting mass roundups of their deserters.

It was recently reported that the Russian military shelled the village of Burgunko with phosphorous shells. As a result of the attack, three people were killed and eight others were injured.

Russian invading troops systematically bombard liberated Kherson. In the press center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, they say that such attacks do not have any military purpose.

On February 21, Russian troops shelled the city from Grady, hitting residential buildings, a shop, a public transport stop, Freedom Square and a utility company. As a result of this attack, six people were killed and another 20 were injured.
