Nicalis has announced the release of the final chapter of the roguelike The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Repentance is out on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Console players will have to wait a little longer: on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, it won’t go on sale until Q2021 XNUMX.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is an add-on to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth in which the brave boy Isaac descends into the basement for his greatest test. Unknown places filled with new enemies and bosses await you, as well as weapons and items that you have not previously used in the battle against the unholy horrors from the worst nightmares of the protagonist.
According to the developer, The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is comparable to a full-fledged sequel – the addition is so massive that it will take you more than 500 hours to learn new content. Nicalis has provided a short list of innovations:
- over 130 new items;
- an alternative path with new chapters, a final boss and an ending;
- over 100 new enemies;
- over 25 new bosses;
- 2 new playable characters;
- 5 new challenges;
- over 100 new achievements;
- over 5000 new room variations.
The cost of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance in the Epic Games Store is 1099 rubles (also includes all Rebirth, Afterbirth and Afterbirth + content). On Steam, the add-on can be purchased in a set with the rest of the DLC for 837 rubles.
