A vigilant Twitter user under the pseudonym Wario64 drew attention to the mention of the Switch version of Life is Strange: True Colors on the ESRB North American Rating Commission website.
Recall that the new part of the adventure series Square Enix and Deck Nine Games has so far been announced for seven target platforms, but the Nintendo hybrid console is not among them.
Notably, shortly after the discovery, the mention of Nintendo Switch from the Life is Strange: True Colors page on the ESRB website disappeared, although a screenshot of the incident was preserved (see below).
Deletion may equally indicate an error made by the ESRB (the Switch version of Life is Strange: True Colors does not actually exist), and an attempt to hide information disclosed ahead of time.
It is worth noting that to date, none of the Life is Strange games have been released on the Nintendo Switch, although the developers talked about the desire to see the franchise on the Nintendo hybrid console at one time.
In Life is Strange: True Colors, players will play the role of Alex Chen, who is able to read and absorb the strong emotions of others. The heroine hides her “curse” from everyone, but the death of her brother forces her to master her powers.
Life is Strange: True Colors will go on sale September 10 this year for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. Pre-orders have already started on all target platforms.
