Capcom publishers in a press release on their official website have shared information about the new successes of the recently launched action RPG Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch.
Earlier it was reported that in the first three days after the release, Capcom shipped over 4 million copies of the game to stores. Recall that more than a quarter of this amount was accounted for by Japan.
As it became known, for a full week on the market, Monster Hunter Rise added another 1 million copies to its result, bringing the total figure to 5 million sold copies.
The success of Monster Hunter Rise at Capcom is attributed to the warm reception of the main concept of the project and its gameplay features, as well as the release of two temporary demos allowing you to try out local and online co-op.
The main feature of the gameplay of Monster Hunter Rise, reflected in its subtitle (“Climb”), is the ability to climb on any surface, including vertical.
In addition, Monster Hunter Rise offers a large, seamless world, a multifunctional rogue (acts as a grappling hook and allows you to control monsters) and sled dogs – palamutes.
Monster Hunter Rise was released on March 26 on Nintendo Switch and will hit PC in early 2022. At the end of this month, the project will receive the first free content update.
