Xiaomi has officially opened its new Mi Home brand store in Shenyang, China. The opening of this store marks an important milestone for the brand – it is already the 5000th Mi Home store in China. Another interesting fact about the new store is that it was the first to receive the updated Xiaomi logo.
The Mi Home Store will be able to offer a range of the company’s latest products, including the recently unveiled Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Redmi K40 smartphones. The company has also promised its loyal customers various discounts as part of the store’s opening events.
The Mi Home flagship store chain has played a decisive role in the success of the Xiaomi brand. In recent years, the company has made a lot of efforts to open more and more Mi Home branded points of sale in various cities of China, so that its products become closer to fans.
Still, the rapid development of the network is surprising. As of 2017, Xiaomi had only 100 Mi Home stores in China and the company planned to increase their number to 200. By December 2020, Xiaomi announced the opening of the 1000th Mi Home store in China. How the brand quickly grew to 5000 stores in such a short period of time is mind-boggling. This means that 4000 more stores have been opened in the last three months. Earlier it was reported that in January alone, the company opened a thousand Mi Homes in China.
