More than 300 camels were recently discovered in Dubai, which died after eating garbage. About 2000 plastic bags were found in the stomach of one of these dead animals. Scientists have compared the mass they formed with a large suitcase.
One scientist says that he has been studying plastic pollution for several decades, and the death of camels is “a whole new terrible level.” The researcher explained that if a person has 50 plastic bags in their stomach that cannot be digested, it will cause ulcers, discomfort and a constant feeling of fullness. The person simply cannot eat anymore. This is exactly what happens to camels hit by trash. As a result, the situation leads to intestinal bleeding, dehydration, malnutrition and death.
