Dyson today announced plans to create 250 additional engineering jobs and move the electronics and software development team to the new St James Power Station office. The company will also expand innovation centers in the UK to attract new researchers, as the brand has set itself an important task in researching new technologies. For this, an investment of £ 2,75 billion will also be made.
Dyson is investing to continue advanced AI research and new technologies. An important task is also to find ways to reduce the amount of harmful emissions into the environment during production. All this will be done not only by outside specialists, but also by the first graduates of the Dyson Institute. In addition to the areas mentioned above, they will carry out the study of robotics, high-speed digital motors and sensor technologies. A new office with a new environment should help increase overall productivity.
Graduates are expected to join the Dyson team this September after completing 4 years of study. Dyson currently has 1400 employees at its central headquarters in Singapore, half of them engineers and scientists.
