The project still does not have a name, but despite this, two points are already known. First, the creation of a scientific base on the Moon will take place in 2024. The second – within its framework, the Chang’e-6 device will collect soil samples from a natural satellite of the Earth, Xinhuanet reports.
Interestingly, also in 2024, China intends to launch its next robot lunar rover in 2024. With its help, it is planned to transport equipment of scientists from a number of countries: France, Sweden, Italy and Russia.
Note that for the new mission to create a lunar base, the China National Space Administration has invited specialists from all over the world.
