The billionaire published a post confirming this information on his Twitter account, reports SlashGear. Interestingly, the project of sending people to the moon is a joint brainchild of SpaceX and the NASA space agency.
Moreover, Musk had previously announced plans to land humans on a natural satellite of the Earth. But that was done in 2019, during the Trump presidency. After the defeat of the latter, many experts came up with the assumption that the head of SpaceX would change the timing of the project. But, as it turned out, all plans remain in effect.
It is planned to use Starship to send people to the moon.
