As part of their scientific work, scientists at the National Institute of Aging in Baltimore have taken on the processing of data from a number of other studies. All of them were conducted in 2003-2004 during the US National Health and Nutrition Survey.
As a result, they found a direct relationship between low physical activity and hearing loss in older people. Moreover, they noted that if a person does not devote at least 30 minutes a day to physical activity, he will age faster by almost six years, unlike people who actively exercise.
