When you click on any folder or file with the right mouse button – in the opened context menu there is a line “Share to”, if you do not use it and you do not need it, you can hide it. In today’s article, we’ll look at how to remove “Share to” from the context menu in Windows 10.
It is recommended that you create a system restore point before editing the registry.
1. Open the registry editor: in the search bar or in the run menu (run by pressing the Win + R keys) enter the command regedit and press the Enter key.
2. Follow the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion Shell Extensions Blocked. If there is no Blocked section in the Shell Extensions section – right-click on the Shell Extensions section, select “New” => Section => name it Blocked. Click on the Blocked section with the right mouse button, select “New” => “String parameter” => name it {f81e9010-6ea4-11ce-a7ff-00aa003ca9f6}
Close Registry Editor and restart your computer for the changes to take effect. If you want to return “Grant access to” to the context menu, delete the created parameter {f81e9010-6ea4-11ce-a7ff-00aa003ca9f6} in the registry editor.
That’s all for today, if you know other methods – write in the comments! Good luck ?
