Animations bring beauty to your desktop, they make all movements more attractive. But when your device reacts for a very long time to any action, you can turn off this beauty by slightly speeding up the computer, or further watch how it dulls beautifully.
There are many reasons for the device to slow down: the main disk is full; many programs in startup; various malware, etc. You can solve some of them by following the instructions “Clean your computer”. Any device will run faster if you disable or reduce the animation on it. In today’s article, we will look at how to disable animation on various devices.
Windows
In Windows, it is easiest to disable animation, and the same menu is used in all versions of windows: Windows XP; Windows 7; Windows 8; Windows 10, etc.
To disable animation: go to the “Control Panel” (in Windows 8.1 and 10 by right-clicking on “Start” and selecting from the menu, and in Windows 7 and XP – go to “Start” and select on the right side) => System => Additional system parameters. You can also right-click on “My Computer” (Computer), go to “Properties” => and select “Advanced system settings”.
In the “Advanced” tab in “Performance” click on “Options” => disable unnecessary animation by selecting “Provide best performance” => “OK”
Android
The hidden options menu for the developer allows you to significantly speed up the animation, or turn it off completely.
First, turn on the menu for developers – go to “Settings” => General => About phone => Information about software => now you need to click 7 times on the “Build number” field
iPhone и IPad
Apple has received many user complaints about the animation speed in iOS 7. They have since sped them up, but there is still a way to reduce the animations.
Open “Options” => General => Accessibility => Reduce motion => enable this option with the toggle switch. In this way, you cannot turn off the animation completely, but you can reduce it slightly.
Mac OS X
There are not many settings on Mac that allow you to reduce the animation. There is only one way to make it a little easier – go to the Dock settings panel.
Open “System Preferences” => Dock => here in the “Minimize Window Effect” field you can choose two options: the default is “Genie”, but you can change it to “Simple Zoom Out”, thereby making the animation a little easier.
Unfortunately, I did not see any other ways to reduce animation on Mac, if someone has additions – write comments!
That’s all for today, if you know how to reduce or disable animations on other devices, or in other ways – write comments! Good luck ?
